THE PARLIAMENTARIANS LICENSING AUTHORITY’S LICENSING TEST OFFERING A LICENSED PARLIAMENTARIAN (L.P.) CERTIFICATION

The Parliamentarians Licensing Authority is a new service offered by Robert McConnell, Ph.D., L.P. and Shane Dunbar, M. Ed., LP, P.R.P., P.A.P.. The Licensed Parliamentarian Certification (L.P.) is a degree of expertise offered by passing a 100 question, on line test over the basics of Parliamentary Procedure.

The test consists of locating 10 quotations using the current edition of Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised and then answering 90 multiple-choice questions taken from a 1147 question test bank. We offer complete study materials from the Parliamentary Procedure Instructional Materials Center to prepare for the test (see the links below).

It is a one time only test which the parliamentarian doesn’t have to update every few years. It certifies that the Parliamentarian who has the L.P. credential is competent to serve as parliamentarian in small clubs and organizations which use Robert’s Rules of Order as their parliamentary authority.

You may take the test over again in 30 days if you do not pass on the first try. However, if you use the study materials, most will pass on the first try. The retake test may not necessarily be the same as the first test you took.
