How To Run A Meeeting

What should be done about missing minutes? Our secretary quit last month and did not record the minutes. No notes are available. Our meetings are recorded and the tapes are also gone. What should we do? Thank you for your help!

Dear Marian,
I don't know how many minutes are gone but perhaps people can get together and reconstruct some of the things that were adopted. I see that you are recording the minutes. Perhaps you are putting too much into your minutes. Minutes should have the motions adopted and not debate. Keep looking for those tapes. Someone has them. I recommend that everyone start taking notes and that you appoint a temporary secretary for each meeting.

That my advice,

Cheerio,

Little Ben
